I picked up some pink fletchings for a good price thinking I'd try them...just can't seem to get myself to fletch up any arrows with them yet...

I thought about fletchin with pink but figured some body would have a cute something to say and I'd  have to scratch his eyes out,  so I went with a floresent orange wrap with white feathers, ther bright in the dusk/dawn but may have to try the pink, looks like it would be hard to miss.
It's a twang thang, some people git it, some people dont.

Amg Feathers and 3r wraps. I lost one at the Muzzy...but it was bright enough that someone else found it and brought it to the arrow bucket. This dozen arrows are still a FULL dozen.

Pink and blue are great colors, but I wanted something that would blend in with the fall foliage a bit if the turkeys showed up.

what the heck is 'peuce'???
Well, I'd leave the explanation to George but he's probably building his special color arrows right now, so I went to the next best source, wikipedia:

"Puce (often misspelled as "puse","peuse" or "peuce") is a color that is defined as ranging from reddish-brown to purplish-brown, with the latter being the more widely-accepted definition found in reputable sources. Puce is a shade of red. The Oxford English Dictionary (OED) dates the use of "puce" (in couleur puce) from 1787. The word comes from French; puce literally means "flea", as the usual flea coloration is either dark reddish-brown or dark purplish-brown."

Everytime I join this campfire I know I'm going to learn something. "Peuse", who'd a guessed. You guys crack me up! LOL! By the way, I'm secure enough in my manhood that I shoot Pink too, with Chartreuse tracers.

I love pink! Pink wraps and all Pink or sometimes have a yellow Cock feather in the mix with Flo Green Nocks. I made my dad some that had Flo. Yellow Wrap with a yellow cock feather and 2 Flo Orange Hens which were bright and looked Cool.

The last time somebody said something about my
pink fletches, I just knocked him down with my
purse.  Problem solved.

Fellows in his original post he said the arrow passed through.  So how do those bright fletch look covered in red foamy blood?

I just go for stealth arrows.  Orange and black this year on camo shafts.

They brighten up a bunch when they turn red.

Mike, even when covered in blood, they still look...well....pink. I will say that I have been playing with some reflective arrow wraps from onestringer and really like being able to see the arrow from a hundred yards in the dark. Of course, they are pink...with flames!

I'm at the in-laws right now (that's why I'm not in the woods) or I'd take a pic and you'd REALLY be jealous!

Thats not a purse, its a "Possibles Bag".  Of course its possible it has lipstick, and blush in it.   Flames and pink, two words that should never go together.  Flo Yellow for me.

I like the Chartruse, but I am going to have to try pink...

Here is a white/green reflective wraps from Onestringer with and without flash:

JC

The wraps are so reflective, I can't get an accurate shot of them without natural sunlight...so here's the best I could do tonight:

Pink flames, fade to solid pink, fade to just the reflective, printed on the reflective backing with a clear overwrap. So far, If I didn't love cresting so much I'd probably use these reflective wraps exclusively.

Otherwise, with a flash, they just look like this:

You can really see these things in the dark from a loooooong way off. And of course, with my cool pink w/flame scheme, I'm styling in the daylight. NOW you can be jealous bro    :readit:
