can turkeys see as well in the fog?
seems i can sneak up on them esy in fog but not on sunny day.
i never regretted a day in the woods/ a hippie taught me to hunt

I'm sure they can't see as well in the fog.  They see the same things we do, just quite a bit better.  

If they see you coming, they'll never stick around.  That's a fact.  They are a wiley sort of bird.

I think you're probably right. They have another eyesight weakness- They can't see nearly as well at dawn or dusk as they can when the sun is up high.

I'll also say that turkeys are simply idiots around here in the fall. I haven't come close in the spring yet but I could have wrung the necks of 3 so far this season; not only are there more around, they come when I call em! I know why GA doesn't have a fall season now...they just seem to be a big yard chickens around here this time of year. Spring though...well, that's a different story    :p
