We finally had a break in the weather and our busy schedules and were able to get out for a little "stump" shooting this morning. My girlfriend, Lexi, received a new bow from Dano not long ago and she has been enjoying learning to shoot. I have also been shooting  one of Dano's little Osage works of art recently. I really like this little , 51" 50# @ 28" bow. My 13 yr old, Cal, shot a recurve made by Tim Ziegler for his little brother Oakley. It's still a little high in mass and draw weight for Oakley so he stuck with his little self bow, another of Dano's creation. We had a brief rain shower that was enjoyed by all and hiked around our ranch.

Thanks for sharing, Chuck! Looks like a stellar day was had by all. Love the pics of the snakes, I was hoping that little one was gonna get off unscathed and well fed.

51"? Has Dano gone nuts? How long is your draw? Nuts or not, he sure made some beauties for y'all. I treasure my Dano bow. Oh...nice quiver you have there, too!

Dano's pushing the envelope, Killie - just inward (or would that be downward?) -   ;)  Love the pictorial and whole (family) concept - not to mention drooling over the beautiful bows, Chuck. The boys obviously are shooting upward , as well as shooting straight and Dano said it for me (makes my heart smile) for all of you. FDs will appear on my Traditional Bows Drawn Pages, as well they should. Thanks for the peek into TX and the "Sinclair family".   :archer:

Kathy...I draw 27" on that bow. It bends thru the handle, slightly recurved tips. The little bow has good cast and is quite accurate out to 15 yards for me, I seldom shoot any further then that unless just goofing aroung stump shooting. Yes, the snakes were left alone other then having their photos taken.
Kenny...Thanks, yes I did that beadwork. That is the 3rd Otter quiver I've made in that style. They are each beaded different, that one being "Flowers in the Forest" for an ancient Scottish tune. Kathy has "Otter One" with red, white, and blue beading.
