of any making tooo!!!!!!  i can choose whatever i want--may be some extra $$$ here and there.  here's the problem---i dont know much about the woods and have never really had a custom bow before.  i have about came to the conclusion that i love the looks of curly maple and think boo cores for the limbs under the curly maple.  what wood for the riser???  maybe some heavy wood for a little more mass weight will be nice.  i am thinking about a 62-64" bow 52ish@28.
i am taking a longbow that i already have and getting the riser made to match the one i have and am very comfortable with.  i may even get my name on it as this is my first "custom".  i am excited about my new $5 bow!!!!
now for your opinions---how would you build it and what woods???  lets here some opinions

I think a darker wood like ebony would look good with those limbs

TJ- Ian is right about the darker riser. Besides, most of the darker woods are harder and heavier making them good candidates for risers.
If you liked my new bow yesterday, it was birdseye spalted maple and had a gaboon ebony handle. I have some really nice curly maple also, but I personally think that it is too blond for most people. We can dye it a little if you would like. Just my .02. We'll work it out.
