Well as you guys know, I have been coaching our local 4H team for the last month to 2 nights a week, some come to my house and been working extra with them. We had our regional meet today, 12 teams, had 20 kids go. They brought home 51 Trophys in individual and Team events and different age levels! They won the Recurve Team event and a young man who had borrowed my Tradtech Pinnacle #45, won the High Indivdual in Recurve class, and High Individual in barebow, [Genesis compound], and he is 12 years old!! Our recurve shooters are coming on, passing on a lot of stuff I learned from you all here on the gang. It is amazing how when you teach a kid to shoot instinctive, instead of point on as they do with the compound, they seem to pick it right up and enjoy it more, less stress, more fun!! If they keep it up, I feel they might have a chance at the state level, but they are all just enjoying it more, and so am I since I cant shoot for 2&1/2 more months because of shoulder surgery, it is keeping me busy and involved with archery.
