I took this button buck on Sunday afternoon here in Vt. It is my second trad kill ever in this my first year trad. It was a great feeling after all the work and practice, and I thought it was a doe fawn but oh well it was still awesome and I am as happy if it was a big buck the breathing was hard and the shakes were as strong as ever. I made th 16 yd shot with my Zipper recurve it is 58 lbs. at my 31" draw a full length Beman ICS bowhunter shaft and a 2 blade 125gr magnus2 head on a 75gr adapter. The shot was a perfect heart shot the arrow entered 2" above the elbow and exited through the opposite elbow for a complete pass through. The deer did leave a easy to follow blood trail, but I was suprised with the fact it traveled 200yds. I would again like to thank Dave Knipes "Vermonster13" for helping me on my journey he is a true friend, my dad again for being with me that day and always taking me hunting when I was a kid and again my fiancee' Amy for understanding my love of bow hunting.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Can you send some of that luck my way? Regular ground mail will suffice, as long as it is here before Nov. 22nd.

Congrats on a nice trophy!
