Quote from: kennym on June 22, 2025, 05:34:59 PMGuys, got form done and lams and glass ready, need to grind the riser fades and I'll be ready to glue.

Pics are a huge PITA so I may just post some of bow when done...
Hey Kenny, the picture thing isn't a pain once you figure it out. Just click on that box below where you are typing that says " Click or drag files here to attach them"

It gives you an option to choose location of files or pictures.    Kirk

Yeah, I got that part but I have to email them to myself nowadays or get them to a resize site. Used to be able to choose a size when I posted but Apple upgraded I guess and like most improvements, it screws something up... :knothead:

Kenny,  I don't know if this app is available for iPhone but if it is (or something like it) you can quickly resize a photo or a batch of photos to the size needed and insert them out of the gallery.

Here's a screenshot of the app I use.  The screenshot had to be resized and it took less time than it took to type this reply!

It looks like you are having your riser belly against the form?  I did that on my first form and had problems with the riser sliding at glue up. My forms I made after that i put the back against the form that way it naturally wanted to center itself down in the dip. I found it less difficult to keep it from sliding. Maybe I am looking at your form wrong.

That form started that way and I changed it, but don't remember why.  But... using ziptys a few inches from center it's easy to tighten alternately and move that riser in the stack anywhere you want and it stays no prob.

62" forward handle , other form warped a bit so built a new one topless.

Made it longer but won't build over 60" on it , bow is a little noisy seems. String is too close to limb at tip for my liking .

43@28 for youngest son, he gonna target shoot with it so quiet won't help there .
