Here's a little paddle bow I've been working on over the last couple months. It turned out to be a pretty good little shooter. Took about 1" set and theows a 500gr arrow right at 150fps. It's 52" ntn, handle is 1 3/8" wide, 3" fades to 2.5" wide to mid handle, initially tapered from midlimb to 1" nocks, then reappeared the last 8" or so down to 3/8" nocks. The spoonbill skins are from one of a pair I snagged this spring and are glued down with hide glue. The spoonbill skins are quite tough, harder to rip that deer rawhide and just as thin. After drying it has a rough texture kind of like sturgeon skin, just more fine. I ended up going with sharkskin and lace for the handle wrap.

This one was a fun build

Just didn't have space for the chronograph photos on the initial post.

Thanks for looking

Really cool bow, Kyle. I like the paddlefish skin backing and the shark skin handle wrap. The texture on the handle wrap should give you a good purchase on the handle. Well done.
