So I have not been getting emails. So I came here and find the format has changed and had to log in again. No more emails or what?

Check to make sure you don't have tg blocked like the last time. Emails are working.

I sent ya one.

Also there was a software glitch yesterday and many folks needed to log back in.

I take it your emails are working because you received my 2 emails I sent you?

What kind of emails are you not receiving?

If yer talking about notification emails, go to your profile, click on "Notifications" and set how you wish to be notified of specific events.  The default is for "Alerts" and not "Emails".  You can select either one or both.

That on your pc or phone?

Try this Mike.

"The current theme that is the default for all members is the mobile Curve2.

The new non-mobile theme is Curve3.

To select the non-mobile Curve3 theme as your default viewing theme ...

(1) Go to your profile (your user name as found on the menu line or as listed in any post) click on it and then click on "Look and Layout"

(2) The first option you will see is "Current Theme", to the right of it click on the "CHANGE" button

(3) Scroll down to Curve3 and click on the "USE THIS THEME" button.

Now the non-responsive non-mobile Curve3 theme will be your default.

Don't like the Curve3 theme?  Go back to your profile and select the mobile Curve2 theme."

Rob DiStefano

The default TG forum theme is Curve2, which is a "responsive" theme that will work for anything that is, or thinks it is, a computer.

When Curve2 is used on a smartphone, not all normal forum functions are available in order to better make the viewing experience easier to both view and use.

The Curve3 theme is not responsive and will allow the view and use of all forum functions, but is not considered "forum friendly" when used with a smartphone.

All members can choose their forum theme user experience for both viewing and functionality.

As an example, whether in Curve2 or Curve3 theme, and using a real computer (desk or laptop), you'll always see icon links under poster's names for PM and email use.

However, when accessing TG via a smartphone, Curve3 shows those icon links but Curve2 will not.

Just to further muddy things, I always access TG on my computer and do not see the email icon for anyone. The PM icon is there, though.

You are using the default theme, Curve2.  So am I.  Here's what I see in my and your posts ...

Screenshot from 2025-06-10 12-26-15.png

... both of our posts are showing the email icon link.

If a real computer (desktop or laptop) is what you primarily use, change over to the Curve3 there.

What exactly is your computer?

I tried a soft reset on my phone (s24) and also tried logging out and in.  There are 3 theme options offered as per the screenshot below.  I have tried all three and none show the email option on anyone's profile EXCEPT my own posts.  Apparently I can send an email to myself? 🤣

I just checked your profile and saw that you changed to Curve3 ... and you still can't see poster icons for PM and email while viewing on a cellphone?

Nobody's posts show the email icon for me except mine. Computer is a PC running windoze 10. I'm not particularly fussed about it, just figured I would mention that I also don't see the email icon. Maybe I will try Curve3 to see if it changes.
