Some pictures fromlast winter from the south french alps, my english is also from the same place...

I was lucky again to have a opportunity to hunt "mouflon" .In this mountains you can hunt mouflon or chamois and only look at the bouquetin (a kind of ibex) who are fully protected)

I was fortunate enaugh to get a other one but i made a bad shot in the elbow ... the sound was horrible "paaaaa" but the mouflon didn't went far ... i saw him going down quicly !

i used a 630 grs  big FOC arrow ( 18%) with a SB broadhead "grizzly" , the bow is 55 pounds but i was in very inconfortable place and i have to shoot very quickly from up to down

look a the exit Hole :

Congratulations kibok&ko.

Sometimes to take the shot, you have to make the shot, and shooting from an uncomfortable position
is all you get. Success sometimes comes from the ability to make the best of whatever shot presents itself.

Looks like a Pittsley Predator hiding under the camo wrap.

it's effectively a predator bow "hunter" model, a very good tool for difficult place

Congrats Kibo!

The Doc is already out bush in the Northern Territory but I'll be sure to point out this thread when he returns.

When you get to making up those new arrows, why not try getting up around 25 - 30 foc.  He's finding that range works well for most people.  I have my favorites set at 28foc - takes some practice to ensure you keep your shots in the 'happy range' (they sure aren't flight arrows  :)  ) but even at my light poundages they pack a good deal of punch.

Cheers   Cher  :)

Kibo, nicely done!  You took what poor opportunity came to you and made it work.  I'm sure it wasn't pretty but you got the job done.

As for our English, much better than my French....thanks for sharing your success with us.

Nice - I like the Mufflon! At least some Europeans are allowed to have a little fun ...

You titled your post "Thanks you Doc Ashby" and not only because of that I can't do otherwise then ask, why you used LW feathers with a RW Grizzly?!

 ;)

double post - mods please delete!

kibok&ko

Hello Falk, because i made an order mistake on this feather and the shop was on the other side of a big amount of water  ...

By mistake i glued them like right wing ...

A  friend of mine said to me the same thing and i change everything already ...

Imagine the result with a good RW feather !!!!  ...

i keep those LW now for the LW SB No mercy for Roe Deer in july ...  Wait and see !
