love the DO, made a run to the mountain last weekend. Slapped a elk steak on the grill and made a few of these.[attachment=1,msg2917782]
Shot a few stumps, and yes I got most of them ate.

Those look good stickhorse. I have a recipe that uses heavy cream for the fat. They are super easy,I might give them a try in my dutch oven.

I have a little bitty one I do corn bread in.

Hey tell Bill hello.

Yeah the old lady was mad at me this morning. There's stuff spread out from the house all the way to the back. I had to get up after I went to sleep, because I forgot the dog in the back. I'm still green around the gills too. The pork turned out good though.

Alexander Traditional

That looks very tasty Randal!

Looks good Rick! It's got a tuff act to follow if it's gonna be as good as the backstrap was!

Those were the best Sam. I tried it at home, but they did't come out as good as when you did in your deep fryer.

Cast Iron shrimp boil with Fresh corn, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, Andoullie, Old Bay, a little water, a little white wine and a few mussels at the end. I cook in Dutch Ovens with coals all the time - it was raining today and had to improvise.
Served whole steamed Lobster on top for my wife's Birthday dinner - Since we couldn't go out!!
