Just finished Dowling out some hickory for form pegs.  Stronger than oak and way cheaper.   Also makes great firestarter.   :)

Monterey, those square ends make good blunts and small game heads on an arrow. Just round the corners a little and cut to desired length. I made a few a couple of years ago from some walnut shafts someone gave me.

Well guys sorry I haven't been around much as of late. Kids started school and sports. Wrecked my shoulder 2 weeks ago and can't shoot a bow currently. However picked a new hobby that doesn't require as much shoulder strain for the time being.


Mix of obsidians, Keokuk and Dacite. Should have some cool points to share in a few weeks.
