Broke a curse that has been on me, I couldn't kill a hog. I had shot 5 over the last 10 years and something crazy always accompanied the opportunity. This changed on Saturday evening! Had about 20 or so come through and was going to get down and go after them a time or two, even lowered my bow down and unhooked my safety belt once. They are so random! They are going this way and then the next thing you know they are going that way, lower your bow, and here they come again. A couple finally headed straight to me and stopped at 10 yards facing me. I didn't hesitate cause a hog standing still ain't gonna last long. Put the arrow between the neck and the shoulder and took out some lung. He ran about 75-80 yards and I heard him crash. He ran down the middle of the road for a ways and veered to the right and fell. We didn't see any blood and my brother was starting to think we probably wouldn't have any luck and I looked back to gauge how far I was from where I shot him and shined my light into the woods and saw the reflection of tape that I put on my arrow to make them easier to find. I said hey look, there's my arrow! They just shook their head and said how lucky I was! The arrow was still attached to him and the curse was finally broken! I videoed the shot, but it was too dark to see. He weighed 120lbs. live weight.

Sweet! I use the tigersharks so I'm curious, how much penetration did you get? from your arrow it looks like 10-12 inches but pictures are deceptive.
Congratulations on a great shot! I would have been scared to try that shot personally.

I'm going to the Tigersharks this next year, can't wait to try them out!  Got about 12 inches of penetration.  Pretty heavy arrow and didn't hesitate to take the shot because he was still and close (10yards).
