I love youtube and there are a lot of bowmaking vids, some good, a couple great but most (like mine) are very amateurish.  Making videos is hard but I want to get better.  Let me know which ones you like and why.

Alberti is tougher than me, no dust collection, no dust mask and smokes. Osage, walnut and fiberglass dust would have done me in a long time ago.

I noticed that he didn't wear gloves to keep the epoxy off his hands.

I love that Ed Scott interview, I'm no bowyer but that was one of the first archery videos I found on the internet, I still watch it about twice a year, I'd love to own one of his bows someday.

Ed passed away so owning one of his bows would be limited to the existing ones out there. Mike Yancey makes a very similar bow to the ones that Ed made.

I have never watched a YouTube bow making video. No reason. Just never done it.

I'm not sure if I found this video entertaining or educational, or maybe a little of both.
But I can't help but wonder where a feller might pick up some of those "alyminium" arrows. I've heard it pronounced a lot of ways, but that's a new one.

Clay Hayes has a great 4 part series on building an osage bow.  I finally was able to get one to work for me following his series.  Nothing too fancy either.  Just good instruction.

If you're looking for some ideas for how to format a bow-making video that's a little more polished, check out the Backyard Bowyer on YouTube.  Now, he mostly posts PVC bows, but I think the way he puts his videos together are pretty nice (his videos are fairly succinct, he does voiceovers for the explanation parts of the videos, making it very easy to understand him, and he has fairly thorough "how the bow shoots" part of his videos).
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
