OUCH Roy!!  Wife had one right after we got married, face was bruised and swelled. All the old ladies in town were on the warpath, just knew I was beating her!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I've had a few but today took the prize.
All I could think about was 2 more weeks and I can shoot a bow again.

bigbob2

no problems with me,I can take the lot out any time I want!!   :bigsmyl:  Kenny nearly got it done, got a work string on and sure is different to my takedowns.Power comes on early and stays there.55# seems heavier than my 58# takedown, but it does smackout an arrow.will post photos in day or so when I get a new string,as well as do a force draw curve.

Dan Landis

Jeff, is that all PA osage?  Should be a bunch of bows in that haul.

Bowjunkie

Yep. Cut it right out behind Roy's house    :biglaugh:

Kenny how did you build your ilf longbow limbs to get decent prestress on them. Plus how do the perform.

Nice one Bob!!

Galen, I put about 1.5" more curve in than my TD limbs to get the nocks ahead of the riser an inch. It is a lot. The tips still show a lot of curve, but string isn't on the limbs, quite.

Haven't checked performance but it is 50# and the recurve limbs are 54# and the new limbs are showing same arrow weak, so will be good enough I think.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Cool Kenny. I've been thinking about modifying the ilf wedge so it will allow the limb to match the 10 degree limb pad angle of my three piece bow. It would be thicker where the wedge pivot point is. What do you think?

Bob that white glass really stands out. Nice bow!
