Dan it is a pretty stable design. I made a little progress on shaping the riser- I still need to do a little more and then finish sand but here's where I'm at-

Crooked Stic

I like your wood combos.Gonna be purty with finish on it.

Thanks- I can wait to see it with finish also... The limb pads are at 18 degrees, the riser is 19" long

Buemaker

Good grief another of those sloppy
looking jobs we see here all the time.   ;)    ;)    Bue--.

Trux Turning

Hahaha- you got that right Buemaker... I got it all finish sanded and ready for spraying, that will have to wait until next weekend but it did finish 60#@28".. Final spraying or not I'll run some arrows through it this week.
Anybody got a good source for antler ends? I want to make a couple for this bow and don't have any good antlers on hand to make into antler bolts.

Dave, try:

They should have some shed antler bases.

Super sweet bow! My friend found these whitetail sheds last year just before hunting season, he only hunted him 3 or 4 times.. he is allowing me access this year. These would be a little wide for your project..

Trux Turning

Wow Robert! Good luck finding that deer. Dan thanks for the info- I'll check them out.

Trux Turning

Got it sprayed yesterday- here's a few pics of it done. I'll let the finish cure for a few days and then get some full draw pics...

BrushWolf

Beautiful work. What did you spray it with?   :clapper:
