Started this osage selfbow for a friend last Sept.  Delivered it today.  Finally!  It is 62" NTN and 53# @ 28".  Tips are buffalo horn over deer antler.  The limbs have two diamond backs on them.  The grip and floppy rest are beaver tail.

Now on to my trade bow.

Very nice bow, David That flat unbraced tells the story.

That there is a fine, fine bow.  Excellent work all the way around!  +1 for what Pat said.  :)

Most people get rich by making more money than they have needs, me, I just reduced my needs!

Osagetree

Yep, that is nice.

What about that little 49"er did you ever get it skinned?

Thanks guys for the comments.  The bow was made from the best piece of osage I have ever used.  Straight and no knots.  Heat gun got to rest on this one except for flipping the tip a little.

Osagetree, I did get the 49" skinned with two small copperheads.  I have several coats of tru oil on it.  I don't know what I want to put on it for a handle wrap yet.  Thinking some deer rawhide.  I am out at this time but am making some now.  Try to get some progress pics up.
