Whitby, nice job on the skins.  I see you raided Oden's freezer.  :bigsmyl:

Razorback a nice cold beer just seems to go great with working in the bowshed.  They just seem to taste better when I'm in there.  Along with some vanilla cavendish in my pipe.  But I'll have ya know I'm typing this as I'm setting on the couch in a blanket..lolol  There's nothing wrong with resting on the couch either...

Congrats Ralph...Thats great news.  Thats just awsome..

I got my trade bow cut out and profiled yesterday. Had to do some fine tillering, but not too much. She's pulling 58# at 28" right now, so by the time I round over corners and scuff up the glass a bit for finishing, she should settle in right around 50-53# or so, right at the upper limit of my range.

Sorry for the shadowy picture. The light in my garage is pretty lacking around the tiller tree. With any luck, I should be shipping toward the end of next week.

That bow is gonna look great out here in VA!

A yew bow sure would be nice.  But after seeing all the great work on here, I'd be happy with anything!

As for me, I've been on 12's yesterday and today. But I did manage to get the handle and tip overlays on, so tomorrow, its handle and overlay shaping, and final sanding, and shooting, of course.  ;)

Just finished these up to go along with my trade bow.  They are made from bush honeysuckle shoots that grows in our area.  With a 145 gr. point they weigh around 525 gr.  They are a bit hard to straighten though.  Hopefully will be shipping soon.

I did not resize these pics, read that it was no longer necessary, hopefully that is correct.

Those look great Dan..I like them.

Tiller looks great Kip! Gonna have to find a good piece of yew in the near future to carve on unless that one shows up all nice and complete at my door
