I am excited to start... and a little nervous at the same time. I hope my bow can live up to what you all produce!! Got my head spinning with ideas

Dmaxshawn

I've checked for a pm at least 15 times today.  I'm ready to start.  I'm going with either ziricote or Texas ebony for my riser

kennym

I don't have a clue what to build!  Guess when I get a name, I will figure somethin out...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

I am guessing we will not get our names till at least Thursday, but that does not stop me from checking my email at least 15 times a day also. Can't wait to start tradgang stocking someone to try find out what they like and make the perfect bow... Humm , not sure I should say that

The beginnings of someone's potential bow is already famous in Arkansas.  I was interviewed by the local news today about a potential urban hunt in my town.  The stave is behind me hiding something really fun.  I'm debating whether or not to post any pictures until I'm done.  Maybe because if I snap it in half no one would ever know the difference.  *fingers crossed*

This is my first year with this swap, and I'm kinda wondering why in the world I signed up!  I'm super nervous about building something nice enough.  Everyone on here does such great work, it'll be hard to live up to!  At least I've got 6 months    :help:

I like the stalking idea.  May have to do a little of that myself once I get a name

One of two things will happen; it'll either work or it won't.

rmorris

That is awesome goose! Way to represent traditional archery, but you do some cool stuff and your yellow sticks always amaze so don't hold out on the picture updates

All I know is whoever I get is one lucky sun of a gun! I mean just look at this choice "stave" that my 4 year old found down by the pond.

Sure it has a few checks and holes...but those are just character...Right?.... Guys?

In all seriousness I'm chomping at the bit just like everyone else. The back and forth joking and fun that comes along with this swap is something special.

Thank goodness the temps are rising.

With my new shop only half finished it means I need temps above freezing if I hope to get it finished before spring. Having to wait for spring to start on the bow I plan to build would drive me bonkers.

I've already picked out the riser and limb material for the bow I'll build.

Gonna be a looker!!!
