Another beauty Robert. That's going to pop.

Even just using black glass would look great with that riser...
Ishi was a Californian

Coco would compliment the red and black accents really well.  or some sort of crazy rosewood.

Robertfishes

The only black glass I have is 050 and 030, I need 040 for this build. I do have some santos rosewood...

got it glued up and cooked last night, today I  pulled belly tape off and snapped a couple of pics. Veneer is East Indian Rosewood and Tapers are amberboo.  Got limbs shaped and filed the nocks enough to get a string on it..it pulled 50 @ 28" on my scale so it will finish out arround 45 lbs @ 28", got the tips glued on and will shape them tomorrow and check tiller again, the limbs were close just 1/16 difference but I still have to round edges alot more and recheck..

Glunt

Lookin' good!  I love pulling tape off.

had to take a 7 day break from the shop..I messed up my spindle sander and had to order some parts. got it back together about 7 o'clock tonite.. shaped the grip and shelf just have a couple of hours of hand sanding and I can spray finish it..looks like it will come in at 45- 46 lbs at 28 inches, I think this one is gonna be a shooter and may become my new favorite bow..but I'm already thinking about my next build..

Robertfishes

almost done, sprayed a couple of coats of shellac on to seal it up and to show any tool marks.. had a couple of places that need more attention so I'll sand those out next week and apply final finish coat.
