I started my swap bow last night.  Ground some cherry and hard maple laminations and found a nice piece of walnut for the riser.  

That's enough for this weekend - got a wedding to go to this afternoon and I'm functioning as the bartender.

Floor tillering my trade bow and reducing a chery stave, just in case. Might end up with 2 bows to choose from. Going to do more work on it this weekend. Sister in law and nephew are visiting so might get caught up in family time.

Just got a mail slip to go pick up my bow.  To late to go do it today and the post office is not open on Sunday and not open this Monday because of the holiday. Humm I don't know if I can wait that long because the mail slip came with a name and looking back at the picture I hit the jackpot.  Will post pictures and say who  made it on Tuesday once I pick it up.

I worked on my trad bow a bit. I shortened it by 2 inches to avoid putting a knot in the limb. I will keep my fades a bit longer and the limbs a shade wider. It will now be 66" from ttt.

I have some movement in the tips but I guess I need to make me a caul and heat it up so I can get the tips to line up a little. That will get a little of the twist out too.

I will get some pics up once I start the straightening. Oh I rounded my edges so I should be tillering soon.

Kenny, she fits you well. Makes a Pappa proud to see his young un go to a good home! Tracy's arrow is a good match. Looking forward to seeing a bit of blood on each.
