I wanted to check some force draws on bows that Blacky has tested in Traditional Bowhunter Magazine. I had someone on another forum tell me 11.5# increase from 26 to 30 inches was scary on my Samick Hawkeye. Here's what I found:

1. Hummingbird Kingfisher..60" bow: From 26" to 30"......11#, 46 to 57#

2. BW PSR 58" bow, 11#, 47 to 58#.

3. Thunderstick Moab, 60", 12#, 45 to 57

4. Great Northern lB, 66", 12#, 45 to 57.

5. Toelke Whip LB, 60", 13#, 47 to 60.

6. Tomahawk T-Storm, 62", 11#, 48 to 59.

7. Pittsley Predator, 60", 11#, 45 to 56.

And my Samick Hawkeye: 62", 11.5#, 48 to 59.5.

It looks like the force draw isn't as scary as the poster thought it was. Matter of fact, I think it fits very well among some good names.   :saywhat:

What's scary about that? About 3#s per inch which is right on average.

That was my question to the poster...I knew better, but he seemed to be a know-it-all.  I posted this on that forum as well.  Some folks are just....  :knothead:
