I used some of Kenny's "New" brown  glass for Christmas present bow. The wood is goncado alvs (sp) and I thinking I will be needing a lot more of this color of glass.

That brown glass does look nice, Ralph... And I really like that wood grain in the handle.

I plan on letting it season for a year or two now. As you well know, 3 year old seasoned Osage is better than 1 year old sage...

Went down in the hollow to pull the trail camera, had to chisel it off the tree from all the ice.. Then hauled in a load of fire wood.

We got all of about an inch! Not complainin either!

We got slammed!  I don't know the official total but I think we got about 2-3" of ICE.  People in road ditches every where.  I haven't been on the roads since last Thursday.

Yep, get power.  I live close to a sub station.  

Most everyone I know didn't lose power.  I have had three people wreck their cars in front of my house since Friday.

Today I started shaping a riser for a three piece bow I'm making.

Nice risers! Living in a sub tropical area I have never seen falling snow so can only imagine what it must be like, especially all the driving mayhem.

Just shoveled about 3" of it from my driveway.  It sure is pretty when it's falling, but a mess to clean up.  I'd send you some Bob, if I could figure a way to get it to ya!

I'll take 3" of snow any day over 3" of ice.  Good luck with all of that David and all you other folks out there.
