Tiller is a tad bit wonky, hinges happen easily on such a small scale.
Really throws that toothpick arrow though...

Merry Christmas guys.

Today I finished christmas shopping.  I wrapped the gifts,  I sat around and got really bored, I went out and loosed some arrows.  Then since it's warm, around 48 F.  I rode my motor bike around a little.

Today I FINALLY finished up the Christmas bows by putting handle wraps, arrow rests, and arrow nocks on both.  Shot both bows (right handed no less) for awhile and enjoyed'em while I could.

Finished up some Christmas shopping this afternoon.  Now I'm just waiting... and waiting...

I had lunch with KSTRAPPER. We talked a little hunting and some about bow building and made some plans to go to OJAM this spring.

It got cut short cause I had to attend a wedding and Tracy had other engagements also. Thanks again for lunch Tracy.

This afternoon I dropped off the two Christmas bows only to find out that one was supposed to be for a 'southpaw'!  The wife told me both were right handed. Next week I'll have to change the arrow rest.  Glad I stopped cutting in arrow shelves!!!

DVSHUNTER

I went in the shop and helped h8in heat up a bow.

Went out and bought some hickory and walnut for cutting lams. I'm making sure I have plenty of wood in case I break a bow or two  :knothead:  .

Got my first selfbow (4th try) to bend to 29'' today!!! 53# @ 28'' for now. Going to leave it there and shoot it in, shape handle & tips and apply finish. Finally one I can finish....

   :archer2:    Even shot some arrows.

Its a 67'' NTN pignut hickory that is 1 5/8'' at the widest point. Both tips are recurved and both point very slightly to the left when looking down her belly. What's the rule on that again? How to straighten them out that is?

I'll post a few pictures later.
