Great buck!  I am surprised that he is still in the velvet.  The few buck I have recently seen no longer have velvet.  Any details of the hunt?

I added a short account of the hunt on page 2.

Thanks alot

BTW - All the bucks I saw last week were all in the velvet, and I saw probably 8 or 10 his size or better ( they might have been the same bucks seen numerous times) but I saw at least 5 different real good 4 points.

I was hunting GMU 40 just south of Grand Junction.  Lots of private, but I was fortunate to find a nice chunk of public that held some nice bucks.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.

Congratulations on an outstanding muley buck! I have hunted Colorado for many years and know that that caliber buck is very rare. You have one to be very proud of!
Time spent alone in the woods puts you closer to God.

"Can't" never accomplished anything.

You speak the truth Bill, thanks for the kind words.
