Well, Me, Curt,Damon, Ed and Jamie pushed some brush. We saw at least 12-14 rabbits and Curt and I each got off 3-4 shots each. I had an easy sitting shot at 17 yards and shot right over one and Curt had a shot at one that I chased back and forth a bit at 12 yards and missed. Him and IU have trouble killing bunnies fo rsome reason, but we had a great time! OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Swampbuck...I got one of those for my brit...she didnt even notice it and it protected her pretty well.
That is a sweet knife.We could have used that broadhead last week! LOL
What a blast today. Bunnies...brush....aerials. I also learned what I am doing wrong(well one the things).Should have known better...thanks guys.

Spent the afternoon with some great company,Shawn,Curt,Damon and a new guy to the trad-world Jamie "ishiwannabe" We pushed some brush and the rabbits were sitting tight,Will still seen plenty.       Shawn was letting the arrows fly for sure.Shawn has a new longbow and he was making a plastic tub do a dance at 20yds or so.Before we new it was dark,time sure flys.Shawn thanks will do it again and to Jamie welcome to the club.>>>>------> ED

Certainly time like these have to happen more often!!  It was great seeing old friends and meeting a new one(jamie work on getting that bow back to a solid anchor).

I once again missed a shot that I should have made     , he was running,I came to full draw and he stopped bhind some stuff,holding draw(my downfall!) moved to the side a bit,and let 'er rip,over the top,never picked a spot!!!    

Boys and girls...IT LOOKS GOOD FOR THE HUNT!!!!!!!!   We barely touched the good spots and never hunted some.

Three more weeks, aaarrgghhh!  Problem is, before we know it it will be here and gone, that's probably a pretty good indicator of how good a weekend this really is. Ed, did break in that bow. I like it a lot. We did have a great time and it seems there are plenty of bunnies. I am gonna take allittle walk with Damon and Nicole, we are bringing Elma Fudd, so maybe we will get a shot at a bunny! OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Shawn

Okay, I got a lot done at home here today, so, here is what I'll be putting on the table this year....



Knotty Osage selfbow, 62" ntn, 50@28", and three cane bunny busting arrows, self knocks with three five" turkey feathers and tipped with 140 grain Judo Points.......

One more thing, I've built this bow to be shot left or right handed, so when I put the finishing touches on it it will have a "Double Floppy Rest"!  Gotta be fair now don't I?
