Guys gals, my family needs some serious prayer. My brother in law (Bob), the guy who taught me to bowhunt when i was a kid 35 years ago, has been found with a huge tumor in the right side of his skull. it is attached to his jugular feeding off his blood and has stem that has invaded his spinal column. It is deemed benign, but has to be removed and the surgery will take 20 hours. We are waiting on  dates for the surgery. He is 66.

Wow...that's terrible even if it is benign. Prayers sent for a safe surgery and full recovery.

But his bow will remain steady, and his hands will be skillful; because of the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,  (Genesis 49:24 [NETfree])

Wow,  Rich...that stinks. Man, that sounds like one disgusting bit of growth!  :(

Good News is that God's got it covered. Prayers for strength and peace to be on your Brother in Law, his family and yours while you wait on the Lords will to be done. Prayers for perfect healing and an incredible surgical outcome so that Bob might shout from the rooftops knowing it was his Lord that guided those surgeons hands in that long, involved operation!

Bob et al, keep the Son in your eyes!
