Anyone out there use a fur back quiver for hunting?  I'd thought about getting one for this season and I've always wondered about their durability against briars and snags.  Any help is appreciated.

I wouldn't use one due to the potential risk of being mistaken for an animal. No fur on me in the woods.
The years accumulate on old friendships like tree rings, during which time a kind of unspoken care and loyalty accrue between men.

Lol... well I hadn't thought about it that way but you have a valid point.  I've got buddies obliterating coyotes at 4-500 yards these days, that would suck to be confused to say the least.

Better safe than sorry KY.  You can't assume that everyone in the woods has good eyesight...lol

I have a back/side quiver I use a lot. it occasionally gets stuff stuck to it but not too bad. Make sure you reinforce the bottom with some thick leather so you don't poke through.

I utilized a side quiver with "fur" on it.... very comfortable, but the damned thing collected each and every burr within a quarter mile of me...

I don't use it anymore other then local 3d shoots.
