After taking time off from work in November to hunt whitetails, I am now thinking my second focus will be the end of the season. Any one out there focus on this time of year?  I always get out and hunt the end of the year,  but with my work I'm outside in the cold all day and tend to pick nicer days to hunt.  Deer in the snow just seems so appealing with a bow and its easy to see where all the activity is in fresh snow.

I prefer late season ... seems like you have the woods to yourself and as you stated makes it nice to see the deer activity. This year I took my doe during early season which normally I hold out for late season .. so I really miss it.

Late season is my favorite. My Brittany's prefer it that way as well. October and November are for grouse.

Shot my avatar buck in January PA muzzle loader season with my bow. Was afraid his antlers were going to pull off when I when getting him out.
I see a lot more deer during daylight late season, and its easier to find them once you find the food source. Unfortunately, there is no late season deer hunting for me, I just scout a lot and look for sheds. My hot fall hunting spot usually has zero late season activity.

Our season has been over for more than a month. I wish I could get out and do a little more.
