I shot a McCullough 60" long bow back a few years ago and was very impressed. Are there any other 58" to 60" longbows that are made in this forward handle style.
The size of the horns don,t matter
as long as it has a good tale.

The Ron LaClair Shrew and RER Vortex are cool. I own a John McCullough Griffin and a Super Shrew Gold. They ARE GREAT bows!

The Shrew and Vortex are good bows for sure.  I shoot a Cactus Cal Saguaro that is similar to a Shrew and love it.  It's only 56" by the way.

I've got a 58" Kanati on order. Check out Jasons bows, great price for a great bow.

Another vote for Shrews.  Great shooting bows!

I have a 56" Vortex with the heel grip that shoots the lights out. I could have quit shopping for bows with this one if it was a take-down. Of course what fun is that.

I have a 56" Striker Stinger, it's a great little bow.

I'd give a look at the toelke whip as well... While not so much forward handle as it is a good R/D bow- it's handle makes you consistently place you hand for pretty accurate shooting...

I'll second the Kanati. I love mine...smooth, quiet, fast, and zero hand shock. The price is unbeatable for the quality of the bow. Jason is a great guy as well. Mine will cast 540 grain arrows with amazing authority (that's 11.7 gr/lb from my bow).

Treadways here:

I shoot a 56" and a 58" Treadway...

Awesome shooters, great quality...

I can email pictures if you like..

I have two Hybrids that are 56", I draw 26", and both are fine shooting bows. The first is made by Dave Beeler of Kansas. He makes them up to 60" I believe. Great shooting, fine looking bow. Well priced also. I believe he just finished one for a TG'er. I'm still deciding on the woods and spec's I want for my next Beeler.
The second is by Jeff Findish. Another fine bow.
