Ramer, I got first blood, but Steve got best blood

I have been messing around with Steve Turays new Ramer longbow this summer....I posted this gar earlier, Steve and I believe it is the first critter taken with a Ramer. Well, I have been more than outdone....Steve just sent me a picture of antelope #2, this week. That's right. Steve has taken 2 antelope this week, one in Wyoming, one in Nebraska. We are communicating by bad cell reception and sporadic text, so I don't know much of the story. The one below was taken at 7:30 this morning.

I shot that bow at Great Lakes. Very quiet and smooth. If it weren't for next week's elk hunt, I'd have brought it home. Great bow.

Mine is 62#....pretty sure Steve's is heavier.

I picked up a NM Superior at GLLI from Steve. Love it! Texted him a few days later to get on the Shelton build list, but still thinking Ramer or another Superior.

If it's the same bow I shot, Steve said it was about 56 at 31" my draw length. It's a shooter.

Nope...Steve sent me a text this morning.....the bow in the pic is 80#

I'm guess it's not the same then. I would need a draw assist mechanism to draw #80. I bet it really sends an arrow.

I just talked with Steve today. He was telling me about the two pronghorns that he shot, great stories. I shot your bow Roger at the Compton shoot. It's pretty impressive, congratulations on your first kill with it

. I really like my Whisper but I gotta have another Baraga. Steve is a great guy and builds top notch Bows. #80lbs. Ha build mine between #45/#50 and I'm good to go.

I'm glad I had a chance to shoot it. It was silky smooth and very well mannered. Of course I only pull 26" but it was a pleasure to shoot
