Ive been out for a couple years. My wonderful Black Widow just sitting collecting dust.....

However I want to shoot some with the boys, I use to shoot Thunderstorm arrows. Light weight youth arrows, kinda short but they flew well. Is there new arrows I should be looking into for 45lb recurve.

GT blems carbons from Big Jim are reasonable. Try .600 cut down to size or .500 full length.

1916 aluminums will also fly well out of that rig.

I like the nasp 1820s in bows of that weight.

Reaper TN

I know CE Predator 2's come in .600 spine, I believe .700 too.

Victory v-force 600's are great arrows out of that weight. If you want lightweight consider them. I just crowned, crested, and fletched some up.. Super fast for 3D

45/50 spine woodies cut to 29" at my 28 inch draw shoot great for me. Also Gold Tip 15/35 carbons. I shoot both with 125 grains up front. Good luck and welcome back.   :wavey:

Welcome back!

As far as arrows go, I sure like my Easton Full Metal Jackets!

I have been shooting the GT warriors for about a year now. I have found them to be typical GT top notch quality, very good shafts, especially for the price...
focusing on the problem is not a solution-anonymous

If you have the Thunderstorm SE shafts (with the spiderweb finish), and ever want to part with them, please let me know.
