I just thought I'd share my bow/gun rack I finished.  

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out for a quick project!

We had to clear an opening in our fence about a month ago which meant we had to cut down a small ash tree.

So I took a small section from the top of the trunk and split it in two after letting it dry in my basement for a month.  

Then I just took a 5/8" wooden dowel and cut the pegs to hang stuff on.
