Show your traditional belt buckles!

I have the Howard Hill broadhead inlaid buckle. Also  have a nice Bear Razorhead set into an antler burr. In the process of mounting a Pearson Deadhead I had cast at a silversmith, into an Elk burr, and I just finished the John Schulz one this afternoon. Still working on the Hill

Good friend of mine made this one for me. Killed the bull that is scrimshawed on the ivory with one of Ron's bows.

And the ram I hunted for a month and did not bring home:

My numbered limited edition bronze PBS buckle which I believe dates back to the early '80s.

Kevin has reminded me...I have a couple of the "new" PBS buckles (one inlaid into a back quiver). I will dig that up. Until then, just about everybody I know here shoots stickbows:

Early 80's???  Theoretically I started bowhunting in 1980--looking back I sat in the woods where my Uncles placed me at 12.  I'll say '84 with the drivers license was my first "real" bowhunting. Here is the new limited edition PBS buckle. Nice hefty bass too I believe.

And a VERY cool use of a belt buckle thanks to Art Vincent

that buckle with the rams head is out of this bleepin world!!!
love it  :notworthy:

It's got a lot going for it. Ivory, sterling silver, and some incredible detail.

All I need is a good ram for the wall to go with it.

Beautiful, wearable art Steve.

This silver buckle was made for me by a Navaho friend and jewelry artisan. It took a year to get it done. The arrowhead is a silver copy of a head he found as a boy in NM. All the petroglyph designs are covered in 14k gold.

I was surprised and a bit shocked to find the moose on the inside of the buckle. He knows I'm a moose hunter and he did that work as a personal gift and gesture. Amazing guy.

Here's one a friend of mine carved on a moose rosette.
