The bows I shoot are the ones in my signature.   I shoot 31.25" 2018's out of the longbow, with 125 grain Simmons landsharks or Steelforce broadheads.  I'm shooting the 68# limbs on the recurve, using 2419's with 175 grain Magnus 3-blade broadheads.

I've shot both all summer.  Muscles are strong now and I really prefer the heavy bow this time around for some reason.  But I know it's way more horsepower than I need for Midwest whitetails, especially with a long draw.   And I'm aware that it might be a bit tougher to shoot well after sitting in a cold stand for a few hours.

Since I can switch back and forth and shoot them both decently, and the sight picture is similar for both, I'll likely use both of them, depending on the circumstances.
Life is a whole lot easier when you just plow around the stump.
