What is a good thing to slow the motor down?
Will a dimmer switch work
Any help appreciated

I used a dimmer switch .
The motor is single speed, so the dimmer switch is not perfect but it works

Definitely not an expert , but I've used a sewing machine motor with a dimmer switch mounted on a board base for the last ten years.   Been doing 3-4 dozen per year and gets the job done.   Probably have $25 invested in it.   Ron
