I recently got a Samick Sage at 30#. After reading a lot, I think I have decided to get a half dozen Easton XX75 Platinum Plus 1816 aluminum arrows for starters. My draw length is 30" so I will be getting the arrows uncut (30" I think). I will be just getting the bare shafts with the G bushings. Just getting the shafts because I have about 300 3" feathers and I want to make the arrows myself. I am not sure what weight or kind of points to get (what are nibb points). I just shoot targets at 40, 50 and 60 yes. Any advice would be appreciated.

my first bow was a 45lb samick i shot carbons with a 125gr head. have fun its a nice bow

the sage is a very good bow for the price. my suggestion is to make a batch of three arrows and then get a test pack of field points and see what shoots best...i know my sage likes a heavy high front of center (weight towards the front of the arrow) arrow; but mine is also 55#. but i would start with screw in field points so you can easily change the weight desired and start with 100g and work your way up. Good luck and enjoy your new bow.

Victory 600s should work. My girlfriend is shooting those with great luck.

Use a point inseret and then you can try any weight point you like. When you find the right one you can always remove the inseert and install a glue in target point.

I shoot my 30# sage with GT Trads 1535 cut to 29.5" and took the recommendation here and got the test pack of field points. Shoots well with the 125's and 145's.
