Bula Tradgangers,
I'm interested in your thoughts about these elite custom compact binos.

Anyone using them?  Your input for or against would be much appreciated.

Stay warm.   :D

I'm looking at them too and also the Vortex 6 x 30. I'll be following this thread with interest.

Not sure about the bushnell but I will say that the Vortex is a great bino for trad bow hunting is all you need as well as being a heck of a deal.  Check out 8X32s

Any issues with the Bushnell's fogging?  Unless I missed something, I don't see that they are rated waterproof or nitrogen filled.

I have a pair of the older Custom Compacts, made in the late 70's early 80's. They were my go-to binocular for years. Always had them in a pocket while hunting. They do give up the early and late half hour of the day.

I now have a pair of Vortex Viper 6x32's and there is no comparison. The Vipers are far and away for me,a brighter, clearer pair of binocular in low light conditions. They are not so small and compact as the Bushnells, however, they are so much brighter and clearer, it's what I'll be using for anywhere I'm whitetail / turkey hunting. I like them so much I have a pair of Vortex Viper 8x42 HD's on order now.
It's a good day for something.
