Well this was one of the most beautiful nights in the woods I have had all year. The colors are getting very nice.

 

No on-stand sightings tonight but on the way back to the truck I saw a few on a ridge with the setting sunlight behind them.

That's what I'm feeling.  Been a great week so far.  Falling temps, empty schedule, it's time.

Tom, A man is fortunate to be satisfied and at peace with nature and creation.  Many seek continual thrills though video games, alcohol, television.  I respect a guy who is really in touch with life.  Mike

What leftyfred said X10 !!! Some of my best hunts were no game taken but totally enjoyed God's creation, alone and in total silence. Not enough of that these days....... Seems like Fred Bear had some words along these lines too.....  :readit:
