I received a dozen POC shafts from Sagittarius archery today and every shaft has a couple of spots of sap on them.  Some of the spots are pretty large.  Anyone experience this before?  This is only my sixth or seventh dozen of cedar, so I'm not sure.  Should I send them back?

Doesn't hurt anything.  Arrows that have been in storage for quite some time often bleed a little.  Can clean most of it up with some alcohol.

What Orion said. Alcohol or acetone should take it off.

I have a dip tube full of acetone for the really bad ones.  I use 0000 steel wool with the acetone.  I put them in the dip tube for a couple of minutes then wipe them off with the steel wool.  Some sap is actually good.  The sap repels water.  It can make the stain look funny.

Got it, that makes sense.  I'll give the acetone a shot.  Thanks, all and have a good night.
