While looking thru a closet for a misplaced jacket, i came across my old vintage camo.
With all the new patterns you dont see much of this anymore, it worked great 20 yrs ago, so i thought why not wear it this weekend? if nothing else, ill enjoy the nostalgia, of some great hunts of the past, and you never know, i might just get lucky. [/IMG]

moleman, they don't come much better than that one right there.  Been wearing my EB bucket hat since 1975.  Picked up some material and hope to have a vest made like your jacket.  Good luck.

I always liked that regular old camo pattern.

shick, they say that history repeats itself, maybe this is the next Big thing in camo.   :bigsmyl:

I wish it would. I remember when I was little and treebark came out. I thought that was something way out there.   :biglaugh:

Drake waterfowl came out with the old school pattern again a few years ago. I thought it would take off again in the waterfowl community, but now it all seems to be on clearance on their website.

Dont give up on it yet hunt4life, look at the huge revival in plaids!
As with most things, even though it has proven its worth, its been tossed aside like yesterdays news paper in order to make room for the new edition.
Never the less, ill enjoy " stylin" in my vintage threads this weekend, kinda fits the whole ensemble, Hill longbow, cedar shafts, and MA-3 heads.   :biglaugh:

Love it!  It worked fine then and it will work fine now.

Nothing wrong with that camo! I hope it brings you luck and if it doesn't you'll still look cool

HUNT OLD SCHOOL

If nothing else ,this great find  brought back wonderful memories of good friends and great hunts gone by. Sometimes the worth of things cant be measured in dollars, or in a pattern, but by the quality of memories that they have absorbed over the years.

You said it brother , I killed this pig with a signed Bear T/D and the old camo.....

Gota love old school stuff.....

HUNT OLD SCHOOL

Sam, it looks like that old school combo is still putting them down. Just because its old school dont mean that there is a lack of education! Nice Job!

Thats awesome. I have an old set that belonged to my Dad....shirt and pants. The shirt has an Michigan Bowhunters patch on the shoulder, he bought the set back about 1970. It doesn't fit me, I wish it did.

I don't wear cotton much, but I would love to have a set of that camo that fit. I would love to have an early season "retro day" cool idea!

I'm just impressed that you can still fit in your camo from 20 years ago...

I still have a piece or two of that pattern and use it from time to time.  I like it a bunch.

THe longer I do this, the more I am convinced that camo catches hunters, not game.

Wear what you enjoy!   ;)
