I think I have 15 stands and 3 ground blinds up right now.  I like to have options.  I usually have my youngest son with me.  When my oldest is home from school I need places for him too.

Brock

I have 6 stands and 2 ground blinds on 100 acres...for different winds and times of year.

Wow, I feel inadequate. I have 1 hang on, hung for a Easterly or Southerly wind & a ladder for Westerly or Northerly winds.
Both are on the same 120 acre property at opposite ends

I usually hunt one or the other, depending on the wind, at most, once every 10 days. I don't want to overhunt the area.

Between times, I'll grab a climber & head for a really nice patch of public land.

I hunt public land and use a climber, carry it in and out every day. I have over 100,000 acres of public land to hunt so I guess my options are limitless.

I've only got one climber.  So far this year, I've been out 12 times and hunted out of 7 different trees.  I'll keep moving around as continued in-season scouting and deer sightings dictate.

My buddy and I have 5 ladder stands, 1 tripod stand, 3 hang ons and 1 climber on the farm we hunt.

Currently, Fourteen hangers & four ladder stands.  Keep      a climber in the truck as well as a set of sticks and another hanger to remain mobile and hunt new locations.

Most the stands are Screaming Eagles with larger custom seats.

I could hang/use twice the amount of stands and still need more.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

I don't think you can have to many stands.  The more you have set, the more options available, and makes it easier to be in the right spot without disturbing the critters.

I have 4 ladder stands, 2 lock ons, and 2 ground blinds on my little 65 acre tract.

I have zero. Obviously they are a valuable tool, but I know nothing about stand placement or hunting.

guspup

6 on 210 acres of borrowed land, but I spend half my time on the ground... and usually have more luck on the ground.

FEIK77

I believe I have around 30. I just enjoy deer hunting from a stand much more than on the ground. Fortunate enough to have plenty of ground too.

huntercole

9 stands on 3 different properties. I also spend some time hunting from the ground.

5 ladders, one hang on, 6 ground blinds on 45 acres.  Going to put 3 more ladders and some more ground blinds in, down the road. I have two climbers for portable stuff usually will leave one in woods if I am liking a spot.

Covey

I like my two feet planted firmly on the ground. I'll occasionaly set in a ladder stand but not to often.

Sold all my stands, now use tree saddle and just leave detachable lag screws in tree, have about 20 different trees, now all I do is walk to tree with saddle on and attach steps. In Jan I take all screws out and clean up, works great, no more loud metal stands and other hunters either stealing or hunting out of my stands. If I hunt public land I just carry my lonewolf sticks. Whole set up for this is about 8 pds.

Downtime

4 ladder stands and 4 hang on stands on 40 acres.  All this in my back yard
