Had the opportunity to see the 160's 170's, and 200's at the BBTC, last weekend.  They look GREAT!  I liked the old ones and these are even better.
I also had the privilege to sit and watch Sharpster tutor an Englister how to sharpen both his knife and the Grizzly.  I had been doing it ALMOST right, but the extra info I got should help me to get my broadheads and knives as sharp as I can possibly make them.  He even had the Englishman putting a nice edge on both.  If he can do it - we all can.
I can't wait to get my hands and KME sharpeners on the new 140's.  (And hopefully, one into/through a deer!)

Bill, Got mine today. They do look good. I was shooting some of the 1st batch in to my foam target, I'm getting a 1/4 twist going in, pulls out slick watching it twist back is kinda neat..

We are easily amused arent we Bob.  :D

One thing I am still struggling with is the paint. I have not found a paint that will hold up. This last batch of heads are the ones that broke the camels back. I'm looking into Teflon coating these heads. The Teflon coating is much more durable and should be the final link to make these heads first rate.Ofcourse Teflon coating is a bit more money than paint but I feel its worth it.

Opened my package from Tracy at 715!!
at 724 I had a crazy sharp Grizzly 160 into my block target!! Thank you Bill and Tracy!!

I think the Teflon would be the finishing touch as well and I would not hesitate to spend 10-15 more dollars for it.

I'm glad you are happy with your new Grizzly's, Tyler. I agree Teflon seems to be the best answer to this issue.Luckily Teflon coating will not add nearly that much to the price.

Thanks Gil, I'll check into that.

Lonala, Once we have a good stock of heads the buy now buttons will go hot. For now any heads that are not preordered dont last long enough to make the buttons hot.I just sent quite a few 200 and 160 grain heads to our dealers.

called and talked to Ron today and got some specific pointers and found a few things out....

with his recommendations I was able to get the head I worked on the past few days to no avail sharp enough to shave hair...but not sharp enough yet but guessing I needed more work on that one as I had done so much already.  Going to try a fresh blade after I do the second side.

another thing....  Anyone want to buy a brand new KME broadhead sharpener?  For what I paid through 3 Rivers...just 5 days ago.

Talked to Ron and I dont need it and actually my Lansky fits the large 200 Kodiaks better due to their length...pretty good when manufacturer tells you to just use my Lansky for the biggest of the blades due to their length and such.  Also says if you have the 200gr heads...then he recommends the KME knife sharpener over the broadhead version because of the control and length of stroke needed to work on the big heads.

Thanks Ron for your help...will call you next week again to cover any points I might have after trying a couple more but so far so good.

After I get these Grizzly 200gr done up the way I want them...will try one of my Ribtek 190 heads or a 160gr head and see how it works on those.  I usually just use a file for them and then touch up with a carbide sharpener....but who knows. LOL
