Stalker Recurve. Ebony and Bacote..    

Here's a Wallace "Mentor", Macassar ebony from tip to tip that used to grace my bowrack. DANG.........I shot this one good.

Just had a chance to check out the new pics.I think the ebony has become my favorite wood.The bows are all stunning.Bocote,ebony - zebra,ebony - cocobolo,ebony - all ebony so many choices.

Some guys hate to use Mekassar Ebony in bows.It is so gorgous it is one of my favorite woods.It goes so well with nearly any other wood.

I agree with Bill,macassar is a great wood as phisical specs as it is in beauty.It is become my prefered in the last few years.

Felix, Your new SXT will be getting another coat of finish today.This bow has turned out even better than I expected.I hate to say it but your last SXT will soon become the ugly sister.  :D

Well Bill,in the way I am shooting I really need a beating bow,my actual SXT has already some Mojo,blood,scratches and mud on it!

By the way:it is impossible to find an hugly Zipper!!!

Macasar Ebony Riser with bamboo limbs on Wes Wallace Mentor 1 piece. I wanted the heavy weight along with the beauty of the wood for the riser. Along side my Brackenberry.  

I made this bow with macassar ebony and east indian rosewood. Has a little cocobolo accent stripe with osage on each side.
