wind is blowing in my favor to hunt by my house tonight, have not hunted the field yet this year. my neighbor walks his dog in the same field and the last 2 nights has saw a nice 8 point with does. last week i had started scouting the area and found a good ambush sout in a field opening. a nice buck has the area torn up with rubs and a HEAVY trail going through the opening. i talked with a couple guys that hunt the oppiste fields with boom sticks and was told they have saw a big 8 point several times and missed him TWICE!!! i really think he is holed up on the 20 posted acres that i have sole permission to hunt. i will be after him toinght and tommorow morning, good luck to all this weekend!

Yeah, I know what you mean.  Thought I had it all figured out for tonight too.  Perfect wind, rained all day and then quit for the last couple of hours.  Not a sound made as I entered my stand.
Are there deer stupid or what?  Don't they know they were supposed to walk right past me??      I don't think they read the books..  "[dntthnk]"

Joe,

what ken forgot to mention was that he forgot to shower. dont know what your problem was.   :smileystooges:

He has a nice little patch behind his house, frankly I 'm surprised he doesn't sit it more often.

boy Killy talk about pressure!!!!! not sure about tommorow now but will be after him untill season close's. oh and this bucks name will be Peterson!
the are by mouse holds a TON of deer with one problem, whe they don't hay the field it is extremly hard to hunt and they have not hay'd it in 2 years now. over a cut field i would see 7 to 10 deer a night from my tree stand. can not hunt from a stand unless it is cut. i am sitting in a hedge row now which is my least favorite way of hunting but i have no choice.

And you can't count to well either....there's not a ton of deer anywhere near here!!
