Thanks guys. He's kinda a runty looking thing but the body didn't match the head gear and there's plenty of meat there for me and the family.

Feel very lucky to have bagged him truth be told. Aside from being stubborn I didn't do a whole lot of 'right' that day but man am I glad to have finally succeeded!!!

Congrats Ross! Way to stick with your deer even without blood.  Some people give up w/o blood, but some dead deer never drip a drop of blood on the ground.  Awesome job.
