She's a heck of a cook too! Stumbled into her camp at Cloverdale many years ago. Stew on the fire. Wild boar I am thinking, but whatever it was, it was excellent! Just good folks! Mike

Their website has a picture of the Evening Stand Green but not the brown.  Anyone have a picture of the Evening Stand Brown?

I wore my Evening Stand Green on a hunt in KY last week and the guide was so amazed by how well I blended into the tree in my ladder stand he asked me where he could get some.

Given the money guys that roll in there for gun season he's seen every kind of expensive camo out there.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Mrs. Asbell explained to me also if she hasn't any more material of a certain pattern then she will remove that color from her webpage unless she gets more in...She has some new patterns she just added onto her webpage this week...

I just this week got my Mac in evening green.

Wore it today.  it was very cold here and it wore well with a heavy ulfrote wool underlayer, a fleece vest and the pull over.

I aslo wear a Primos Archery Vest over, but doubt it adds any warmth.

Anybody ever get instruction on how to clean her garments???

I wrote but haven't yet gotten a reply.

Makin my allergies go berserk, so would like to hand-wash but might have to foot the bill for dry cleaning if i don't hear if others have cleaned and hung/laid out to dry.

I got the XL and it fits perfect...getting it on and off is a bit of a fun experience without a lining! I felt like a snake shedding skin!

I thought I read here to wash by hand in hot water w/ mild soap and air dry laid out on a towel.

Doc Nock

I read that too somewhere here recently, but thought it was just with wool in general.

Each wool, has it's own idiosycracies. I wondered if anyone had it from Theresa herself?

Mic and Doc,
I think I would hand wash in Cold water only with less chance of shrinkage and flat dry or hang outside on line and go out every 20 minutes and stretch it a little by pulling the material gently...I washed my Swanndri wool pullover a few times in our laundry tub by hand and she(my wife) looked at me like what are you doing that for? You will be forever getting the water out of it...I said the tag said to hand wash it only! She said the Washer machine has a Hand wash setting on it and it will ring most the water out of it and dry in about 2 hours outside...We have one them H3 Sears washers that uses about 1 cup water and spins like a Tornado and feels almost dry when you pull it out...I just use the Hunter Specialtys unscented detergent and while it hangs outside I spray it down a few times with earth scent spray...My Swanndri has yet to shrink and not 100% sure the Asbell pullover can be done this way but my Swanndri still looks new after about 6 washings now...

woodhippie

I was going to order a couple of pullover for my boys for christmas. does anyone have a phone # to get ahold of Teresa to findout if I could get the order before christmas. THANKS

Doc Nock

Call and ask.

Windblocker is XXXl but the pullover wool says XXL. Ask.
