Just a few weeks off to hunt.....

Have been looking for a 1pc Silvertip rc for a while now. Actually 8 months (just looked it up), so I think that's enough. I think I'll ring up Beth, and get on the list.  

Well, I reckon I just bought mine, a 2pc BamaBows Hunter from the classifieds. It's early I know, but when the right bow comes along you gotta go for it.

I've got no one, so I always buy myself something. You fellas getting Bama's will be very happy.

I always tell my wife and girls I want something handmade from the hard working Americans that make the stuff we all love and enjoy. Could be a knife, quiver, bow, Asbell wool or any of the handy commodities that a trad hunter would love and need.

Makes it a little more sentimental when it comes from momma or the girls.

This year they are getting me a new striker Stinger in maccasar ebony veneers with an ebony and osage riser and tips!      

Boy did I luck out or what. I think next year I will go big and ask Mrs. Clause for an Alaska Moose hunt    I mean after all what's Christmas with out a Christmas wish LOL

A dozen nice arrows would be good. Or a couple dozen shafts and makings. I like the moose hunt best.

I always ask for another quiver and she always says "how many quiver does a guy need". Last year I got an Art Vincent pocket quiver for 3D shoots, that was good. I would imagine they would always get you safety stuff, unless they don't want you around.

I wish I could talk everyone in my family into making their presents one year. Some would be better than others but thats not the point. Christmas seemed so simple and pure when I was a kid. Now I watch my kids open an endless pile of presents that they forget about in a week.

I guess I would wish for anything homemade.
