Robust?  I treat mine pretty rough, used the bow to arrest a potentially disasterous slide down the side of a donga in africa.  Have tossed it over the fence to land in the grass or snow have dropped it out of the treestand.  An old dude stepped on the limb at a shoot, I just about passed out but it didn't hurt it at all.

I'd say it's robust but I'd also say it's like a ferrari you don't treat it badly needlessly and it will give you years of good service.

I'm not sure what you refer to as "robust?"  The 2 I have seem robust enough.  When the deer start shooting back, then I'll consider a "Marine" proof bow.  Till then - I'm good.
