you may get to shoot a mowhawk but it's extremely unlikely to find a sparrowhawk as currently there are few to be found.

there is NO comparison between an afl (hill longbow) and a hybrid mild r/d longbow (mohawk or sparrowhawk).  they are different bows in terms of performance.

Rob,
I agree with ya, they're not all apples and apples. I have 3 Hill style bows(2 N.M. Sheltons 66" long 54#s & 55#s @28"  and a Tembo 66" long and 52"@ 26") and enjoy them a lot. My 62" TD Mohawk  54#s @ 28") is also smooth but much "quicker than the Hill types. "Like both types.

...  When thru the forest glades I wander and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur and hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze, ...How great Thou art!

Pretty bow. I love my Mohawk and would love to add one of those to the rack.

I can`t imagine a longbow shooting better than the regular Mohawk. One of the finest bows longbows made in my opinion.RC

I have this bow now...and must say it is surely a great shooter.  Must admit I was not familiar at all with Mohawk Longbows previously...as EVERYONE says their bow is the fastest, quietest, best shooting bow they have ever owned...until the next one.  I can truly say it is a fine shooting bow and everything Rob said it was.  I am the third owner now....hope to be the last.  :)

Nice, reallyNice! also like the endless loop string!

Brock

That string is no longer on it....it came to me with a Flemish styled 12 strand on it of I think D97.

And just put a SBD on it I got from Pierre's SPRING SALE....it is 8 Strand with padded loops.

Thanks anyhow.    :)

I have 2 regular Mohawks, 64" That I love.
I acquired a Sparrowhawk in a trad a couple months back and it is a fantastic bow. Very smooth and shoots exactly with my other one and is exactly the same # so I can pick up either one and be right on with same arrows.
Love my Mohawks!
